The doctor supervises the condition of the boil a few times and also changes the dressing. The pus continues to trickle from the boil. Finally when the boil has completely erupted it gets dried within a few days and gets cured completely.
• If lethargy, malaise and a fever are experienced along with a face boil then the concerned person must consult a doctor immediately. A bacterial culture would help the doctor in deciding the course of antibiotics.
